Why “pampering” celebrations matter... to You.

Heyyy SuperTeachers,
Let's jump right in.
Pampering celebrations aren't just for your students, they are also for you. They're a hack. One that ensures you are always collecting data and tracking your students progress.
Progress celebrations require you to:
Consistently track, analyze, and reflect on your students' progress, not just when grades are due.
Give students (and families) regular feedback on their progress, not just a final grade at the end of the term.
Ensure that student learning is always the focus and priority, thus creating opportunities for you to constantly adjust your instruction in order to meet your their needs.

This instructional practice doesn’t just document your efforts—it ensures that every student knows where they stand and what’s possible.
How was their grade calculated?
What steps can they take to improve?
How can families support at home?
And if, despite your best efforts, the needle doesn’t move, you have clearly documented your efforts: What you tried, Who was involved, Next steps beyond your classroom.
This is the work required to deliver high-quality instruction.
If you’re ready to refine your practice with coaching that moves beyond theory into action, I’d love to support you.
This August, the Academy is launching a 1-year virtual residency for K-12 teacher, a space to reflect, refine, and transform instruction in a way that truly reaches all students.
